OT - Oxi-Clean isn't helping....suggestions?

I have a very nice white outfit with lace trim. The top looked a bit yellow, so I decided to soak it overnight in Oxi-Clean. While the trim came out fantastic, and the skirt brightened up, the top didn't. It says specifically NO BLEACH. I am not a smoker and haven't worn this outfit that much. Any suggestions on how I might get this yellowing out??

Hello Rhonda, My wife had a similar problem and she used a little bit of "Iron Out" in the wash and it worked. I know they have this in the hardware department at Wal-Mart. GOOD LUCK! Trent

Thanks for the suggestion Trent! I don't have iron in the water that I know of, as it's city water. I may go and get some today.

I'm not sure why it's yellowing. I have hardly wore it as I outgrew it many years ago and I just hung it up in my closet. I don't have well water, so I don't think it could be iron build up. Because it's 90% rayon/acetate, I haven't bleached it. I'm gonna try your suggestions IF Trent's doesn't work. I have a DAR function coming up and if I can be a page, it requires me to wear white. I'd to be able to wear that outfit again!
