My Very First WOW Moment(s) Ever

Ok...so yesterday I went to Fashion Bug (and not the plus side) and I jokingly plucked a slinky black dress off the sales rack in a size large. When I tried it on it fit like a dream...and I purchased my little treasure for $7.98. I thought to myself...self...this is a GREAT purchase, but their sizes must run big. So...this morning, after getting out of the shower, I inadverently wrapped up in a regular size towel (no bath sheets for me) and kinda had to do a double take. I shook my head and thought....naaaaah. So...this afternoon I purchased my spring tanning package and when I jumped in the nice warm tanning bed, my stomach no longer touched the top! As a matter of fact, I had room to sprawl out. (sprawl out????) Ok...ok...I get it! The results are in! My surgery is really, really working! And I can't remember if I posted the best part in a previous post or not...so I'll add it in here. I LOWERED MY CHOLESTEROL 60+ points! Happy Day! Just thought I'd share... Maria W.

That is so funny FB was where I had one of my first wls moments. It feels so good to go to the left of the store when I walk in instead of the right. (in our FB anyway LOL). Congrates on your many moments. God Bless and take care.---Toni

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS SOOOOOOOOO COOL TO HEAR!!!!!!! I AM SOOOOOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU....I KNOW HOW GREAT THIS IS...I AM kind of going through similar things, buying smaller clothes....smaller towels, so I know how excited this must make you feel!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats Maria!!! I remember well the tanning bed thing! My belly used to hold the lid of the bed opened a little, and the first time I went in after my WLS (about 8 months out) I had plenty of room to "sprawl out"!!!! GREAT FEELING!!!! Congrats to you! Theresa

The towel comments is GREAT!!! I thought I was the only one who noticed this. I recently made a comment to my friend *****cently had WLS about the exact thing. NO MORE BEACH TOWELS IN THE BATH ROOM!!!!!! Congrats on your progress.
