Books
Hi All,
Hope this brief email finds you all well and losing! I wondered if anyone(or all of you) had any suggestions of good books about wls that I should read while I get all my ducks in a row? I go Monday evening to a seminar with a surgeon recommended by a friend that had the surgery almost a year ago(she looks and feels fabulous-I'm so proud of her). Any suggestions would truly be appreciated. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Thanks in advance for all of your help.
Take Care,
Adrienne
I just finished reading Carnie Wilson's first book, "GUT FEELINGS." It was a great book that dealt with most of the emotional reasons she was over weight from early childhood. I realated to many of her emotions and issues. This book has helped me prepare mentally for what is to come. The back of the book is filled with questions and answers that anyone considering this surgery should be aware of. Her second book is "I'M STILL HUNGRY!" I have not started this book...hope to get into it this week. From what I understand, this book is dealing with the emotions of tranformation and the life after surgery.
Hope you add these to your list...Carnie has a great sence of humor and it was enjoyable reading!
