Medicare and Medicaid huh!

Hi, I am still a little new to this site but find it very nice. I am might have to have my surgery in Michigan were I grow up. I am woundering what Dr. is the best (Dr. Foote, or Dr. Kemmeter, or Dr. Baker) they are at the Spectrum Health at Blodgett Campus. I live in Indiana and they don't have a "ASBS Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence) Hospital. I have been going through all the hurdles and just when I am at the home streight they throw up a road block. I was going to have my surgery in Franklin at Johnson Memorial with Dr. Lindsay. I have been to suport group meetings and educational semeiar. I have been seeing my primary doctor and the nurtrionist for 6 months and I feel ready for surgery. Dr. Lindsay is willing to send the surgant my medical information. I just want the best one. I will still need pre-op testing and all that fun stuff. I am not looking forward to changing surgeons but I want the surgery. Can anyone help! Take Care, God Bless! Love, Snugglebunny

All three of those docs are WONDERFUL!! If you use MMPC you will be treated great with LOTS of support from everybody there. Pam

I had surgery with Dr Foote and MMPC at Blodgett and was treated great. I had surgical complications and spent a lot of time at Blodgett and was treated great and happy with my outcome. Good luck with your journey. Tricia
