OK, 4 more days, lots of questions
Thank ALL of you for your words of encouragement and for being HONEST about what you own experiences and the experiences that you have known from others. I am determined to make this work and follow all of the rules (no gullet-shoveling here ) I cant wait to have the energy to walk a few miles a day and work up to more than a few and to be able to do all of the other things that I am unable to do now. THIS is my motivation.
i hope you do realize that the "gullet shoving" is an example of what not to do and not a case of trying to insult anyone. as long as you don't suffer some type of complication (which can be fixed as long as you attend your follow up care) and have the right attitude, you will do just fine. it's good that you're concerned. it shows you're serious and motivated.
i hope my choice of words didn't detract from the meaning. best of luck to you.
in that case, let us tell you about tooting! or as i call it, releasing the ducks. not only does it sound different now, but it smells different too. at least for me. i can't tell you how many times i've thought, "what died in here?!" only to find out... it was me! it's handy to keep dogs around so you can blame it on them.
for me it's milk and sugar alcohols that sets it off but i think we each have our own personal demons in this regard. let's just say that friends might not want to be stuck in the car for long rides with you after you've eaten.
"i'm popey the sailor man...."
