Surgery Date

Hey there- Msny of you all know all the troubles that I have had over the last year and a half. I went to Cleveland Clinic at the end of January to see if there was anything that could be done to help me. Dr. Schauer sent Dr. Kemmeter a letter suggesting that we remove the remnant stomach. I had an appt last week to discuss having my surgery reversed. After much consideration we decided to remove the remnant stomach instead of reversing the surgery. Renee called on Monday to schedule my surgery. When she called she said that the soonest she had was March 16th. She called me back about 10 minutes later and said "How about this Thursday?" I said ok and proceeded to rearrange my life to be ready for Thursday. Renee called me back to tell me that Dr. Kemmeter had another commitment on Thursday so the soonest he could do the surgery is March 16th. I was a bit angry because I had to rearrange an aweful lot to have the surgery on Thursday. My mom and my daughter will be there with me the day of surgery. My husband is dead set against me having any type of surgery. He is so frustrated with the whole thing. He just wants me to feel better. I don't blame him one little bit. I am so happy to hear the good news and I am so happy to know that your pain will go away. You can rely on me when you need any help after surgery and before. Like I said before I will be able to pick up from the hospital if you need me. Tricia
