1. What can you do today that you couldn't do one year ago?? 2. What do you want to be able to do a year from now that you're not able to now? 3. What's the first thing you're going to do in your yard when the weather gets nice? 4. Have you started your Christmas shopping already? 5. What is your favorite food this week/month? *************************************************** 1. Today, I can walk, jog, run, skate and one year ago I could do none of those things. One year ago, I was walking with a cane and used a mobilized cart when shopping. I had chronic pain in my feet. I had to order special shoes that cost a horrible amount of money. Today, I have no pain in my feet. I buy my shoes without needing to order special ones. 2. This time next year I want to have regained my upper body strength. Having this hernia has reduced what I can and can't do and I really notice that I have NO strength in my upper body at all. I have clearance to work out but nothing with the abs/arms so I don't injure the hernia more. 3. Rake the leaves out of the bushes along the property line. I'm really sick of seing them out there!! 4. Uh, NOPE!!! I don't ususally start until Octoberish. I'm only asking this because someone posted that there's only 10 months til Christmas. 5. My favorite food. Kind of hard to answer. I am really enjoying all of the food I'm eatting. I never knew how GOOD food was. Pre op, I was just shoveling food in. Now I take small bites, chew, and enjoy the food. If I had to pick one thing I'd say banana with peanut butter and raisins. Kind of weird, I've never had it before last week. But I really enjoy it.

Yeah, no bread! lol. actually being in Michigan now i won't be going to a seder this year, i don't know any Jewish people at all in this state, not a one. Maybe i'll celebrate by going to LaShish and having a felafel.

Jay, Im not Jewish but I've been to a few seders.... If you dring the bitter herbs I'll bring the egg and leave the door open! I'm sure you could still have a seder with some non-jewish friends if you really wanted to! Erin PS: I pefer PURIM, any holiday that calls for spitting is right up my alley!
