Good Morning everybody! Well, I survived, and thank Kevin for posting about me yesterday. Dr. Schuhknecht took 11 lbs. from my tummy and took some great before and after pics while I was out in the OR! I did expect the worst, as far as pain, but decided to have a good attitude about it... and it hasn't been as bad as I expected. Not out of the woods yet, but doing what I'm supposed to. Slept in my lazy chair the first two nights, but last night slept in my bed for the first time. Found out I can fold my binder up and pull down the undies to go to the potty, so not such a burden on people having to help me with the binder now. I had a scare this morning. Daughter was in the shower, living room was dark and I was heading to turn on the TV... well, I tripped over and stepped on the cat twice... almost fell... but caught myself... and this was before I had my pain medication. Jarred myself, but I'm fine... scared the heck out of me! I felt bad for the cat, too! Have a great day everyone, and hope to hear from you soon! Hugs, Nancy Bontumasi

Nancy .. congrats on feeling so well .. woo hoo ... GEEZ ... 4 days out I was in soooo much pain .. I couldn't get online much less write a happy note .. haha ... although, I did have outer thighs done, butt lift, tt, and arms all done at once ... what was I thinking? -- Good luck .. take it easy ... and don't fret over all the swelling that is happening .. it will go down (I freaked with my swelling .. it was like I hadn't even had the surgery ... ok .. so perhaps I am being a drama queen there .. I just didn't expect so much swelling!) It's great to have a flatter tummy .. enjoy it!!!!!!! Rest up! Karryn

Glad to hear everything is going pretty well for you. I guess I was just a big wimp because I thought it was very painful! Enjoy that new flat tummy! Don't let Kevin get you laughing or you'll start to feel it! Happy healing! Jon
