I feel great... REALLY! 
And for those of you *****member the distinct lack of support from my immediate family-
- My dad who called the hotel the night before the surgery at 11PM to tell me it wasn't too late to back out of the operation says to me kind of out of the blue "Yeah, there was a lot of pain at first - but really - you are doing great. And your face is much, much thinner." 
- My sister who is a doc and who chose to give me countless disapproving looks prior to surgery said today "I don't care what size you are. You are simply healthier. Your skin looks better, your breathing is not labored, and you are clearly getting around better. It's not about how many pounds you weigh but how healthy you appear and it's really quite amazing how much a difference there is already." 
Please forgive me if I pass out from the shock.
