Livlite Support Meeting Tonight/my updates/worries

Hello, Will anyone be attending this month's Livlite support group meeting? It's at Bi-County hospital in Warren, tonight at 630pm. If so, I'd love to meet some of you in person. Some days I find myself so geared up and excited about what my future holds after surgery. Other days, I'm down right "blue" worried that I won't get approved. This waiting game is like a roller coaster. I know it will come all in God's timing, but it is hard to be patient sometimes. The latest with my insurance is this. We are keeping NGS(PPOM) for the whole family. The plan is to take on BCBS for only 3-4 months as it's going to cost us a pretty penny. BCBS will be my secondary insurance. IF we dropped the NGS we couldn't go back on until next Nov. for open enrollment which would mean paying for 9 months of the BCBS which we can't afford. BCBS PPO does cover the surgery. My only concern is will they cover it as a secondary insurance? I am told by many that as long as there is an exclusion against WLS by my primary insurance and BCBS can see the rejection letter, that they should pick it up. It's crazy though, I can't get BCBS to answer any general questions I have. They want a contract number which I won't have until our policy is in effect. My husband has a review on his job on 2/27. We are praying with all we have that his probation is lifted so we can proceed with getting the BCBS in place. At this point I just have to go for it and put it all in God's hands. For those of you that pray, would you please pray for me? I'd be happy to return the favor. I believe in the power of prayer. My health is getting worse everyday. I have two beautiful daughters that I long to have more energy for. I want to run with them ,climb with them, ride bikes with them. Ok, now I'm in tears. I'm so glad I found OH and now have a group of people that can relate and share my feelings. Now I'll pull myself together and get back to work! I hope everyone has a blessed day. Your friend, Shari

Cheryl, Yes I will be there for sure. Good luck at your check up, let me know how it goes. I feel so comfortable with Dr. Marshall. I really feel good to have found him for a surgeon. I'd love to see you if you can make it. I will be there with my husband. Normally he works afternoons and can't attend, but tonight he can. We were able to get Mamaw and Poppy to watch the kids. Shari~Dr. Marshall ROCKS!!! Everything is going awesome as far as my blood work and I was in and out of there in no time!! My hubby told me that he could be home in time for me to attend the support group meeting tonight so I'm planning to be there!!! How will I know who you are??? LOL!! Hi Cheryl, I just heard from my mom that my Dad has the flu and he was going to watch my youngest tonight. That's ok I'm sure my husband will say he'll stay home with her and I'll still be there. I don't have pictures on my profile yet, but I did email some to OH this a.m., so hopefully it won't be long. Question, how do you get a picture to show up when you post? Does that automatically happen after you have pics on your profile? How will we know each other? I'll be wearing a light blue fleece top. I have about shoulder length brown hair too. Hello!!! I am rather new to this site. I had my surgery with Dr.Pesta on Nov 17th. I LOVE HIM!!! he is amazing... Keep pushing for the surgery, I am 14 weeks out and I have lost 63 lbs and I already feel amazing... I thank God everyday that I was able to have this surgery. Did either of you make it to the meeting? I unfortunately was not able to. How was it?? I am here for you if you have any questions!! I will be praying my heart off!!! Hugs Cheryl S.
