Hi all, Well I am counting the hours instead of days now. I go in for surgery Thrusday morning. The nerves are starting to act up the closer it gets. I know that this is something I need and want to do but can't help being nervous. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you all so much for being such a wonderful source of information and support.

Hi Kelli: You are completely normal with the nerves. You are going to be just fine, sweetie. This is a life changing surgery and life saving, too. My PCP figures I have added at least 10 years to my life! I love my new life and feel terrific! You will do just fine. Love, Pam (you are in my prayers along with your surgeon)

Kelli, Although it's almost impossible, try not to worry. Try to keep yourself busy for the next day as Thursday doesn't count!!! I am 2 weeks out and was terrified, but put it in Gods hands and just went with it. No complications only one day in the hospital and back home - down 21 pounds - think of that as you go thru your day! Kim

Kelli The time will fly by and the nerves will go away as you have come this far and know that it is what you want, to be healthy. That is the goal. The very best to you on your new birthday on Thursday. Brenda
