Good Ol' Fashion Way

I'll tell ya, that little puppy o' mine has a TON of energy! In order for her to stay relatively calm, I've been having to walk her 3-4 times a day. The walks have had to get longer and longer to keep her at bay. Well...drumroll please....I am back down to my lowest weight. I hit 168 in about July. Then I put on like 7 pounds and learned to live with them. Now, I am back to 168 through old fashion walking and eating better. That is a total lose of 183 pounds (holy snikes, the math just shocked me)! Amazing when we use our tool right how it still works for us. It feels good to be a "loser" again! I am hoping I can keep it going now and get my last 10-18 pounds off. I can feel the 7 pounds in my pants and it is pretty exciting. Just had to share! ~Van

Good for you Van! I know you've been battling those 7 lbs. for a while!! I used to call my puppy my "exercise director" because she didn't care what my excuse was..she wanted to GO! Thanks for posting. I've been struggling with a gain myself, and have been un-motivated. Your post helps! Kathy

I am sure if you get the dog back into walking every day, she won't let you be un-motivated. I figure it is that or chase her around and around the house telling her No, leave it, down....I'd rather walk! Amazing how that motivates us. So good to hear from you. It is nice to be back! ~Van.

Thanks for posting I have been battling the same five pounds for a while and I know it's because I haven't been able to exercise. I'm recovering from my last and final plastic surgery. Two more weeks of restrictions and then I'm free to go back to the gym and my trainer. Hopefully those five pounds and the last twenty will go away forever. Fran
