Normie, do you WLS for dummies book???? I just got a week or so back and they have the stages menu, as suggestions of what food to eat at which stage. The book says puree protein sources are: scrambled eggs no sugar added or lite yogurt low fat ricotta cheese stage-one baby food meats low fat, small curd cottage cheese Suitable food hoices in Carbohydrates include: smooth oatmeal(do not use prepackaged, use your own and add Splenda) cream of wheat cream of rice stage 1 baby food veggies and fruits Pureed veggies and pureed fruits It states "Carbohydrates shold be a minimal part of your diet in these stages and for the rest of your life because of your bodys protein requirements. You should be at this stage 2 weeks unless your surgeon tell you different. This is from WLS for DUMMIES Pages 136-137 There are some recipes and a sample menu also, I can copy and mail you . Let me know DIVA

Normie, Don't feel bad about the hunger - I am constantly hungry. I already tried pintos and cheese from taco bell and it was awesome. I had scrambled eggs, but they didn't go down well. I am dying for a huge taco salad lol. What has been on your menu so far? Kimmer
