TUMMY TUCK THIS THURSDAY!
Hey Everybody! It's been a while since I posted... was sick all during the holidays, got rid of it, then it came back with a vengeance and went right into my chest. Needed to get better, as my tummy tuck is scheduled with Dr. Michael Schuhknecht at St. John Riverview Hospital this Thursday, February 23. Can't wait! Anybody else gonna be there that I can visit?
My daughter got her driver's license on February 6, and was doing a great job on the little local trips I let her go on. Well, Friday night she wa**** in my car. The reason I wanted her to get her license, is so she could run errands while I'm recuperating from my Tummy Tuck. Oh well, others will now pitch in! My daughter's fine... lower back & neck are sore... and it wasn't her fault... the other guy got the ticket and hardly a scratch on his big 4x4 truck. My little car is pretty damaged, but thank God she and her girlfriend are OK. We'll see about the car.
Have a great day!

HI Nancy,
Dr S did my TT too. I am pleased with the results.
I did have problems with drainage around my belly button and where the binder kept rubbing on my lower incision line. Not bad enought to ever regret it!
My daughters was with her gf last Friday and they were in an accident also, like yours, thank God no one was injured.
They were waiting to pull out of a business and the 2 lanes closest to them stopped to let them pull out, unfortunately the oncoming traffic didn't. My daughter has her permit, hopefully this has showed her another thing to look for. If MOM tells her its prob in one ear & out the other!! Unfortunately real life has to be the lesson in some cases.
Glad your daughter & her friend are ok.
Smooth sailing for your surgery & have a relatively painless speedy recovery. Not to scare you , just want u to be ready for it, TT's are alot more painful than the bypass itself. I SWORE I would never go under the knife again when I had mine done, lol, went back for the tt revision like 6 months later, lol. Its alot like childbirth, pain but then the end results are worth it and the pain memory fades away!
God Bless you ,
De
PS Tell Dr S hi for me !!
Hi Nancy. I was in the office the day that you went for your TT consultation. I had mine done in December. Dr. Schuhknecht did a great job. I had to have my gall bladder removed, so it moved up my surgery date. He also fixed a hernia while he was in there. I thought the pain was much more than the WLS, but here I am two months out and feeling wonderful. They took off 12 pounds of skin and fat. I am down two sizes in my clothes and doing great. I go to see Dr. Schuhknecht on Friday morning...so maybe I can stop by and see you. I know all will go well. Many blessings and mind the doctor!! Diane
