not enjoying secret pal...

this may seem a little petty, but i'm not enjoying the secret pal thing at all anymore. the last round, i had a lot of fun with...i sent out emails, ecards, gifts, and i always got a "thank you" within a couple of days. this time around, i've not gotten anything to even let me know if my pal has even received my gift. the only responses that i've ever gotten were replies to my emails asking for suggestions on what they're interested in. sure, i enjoy receiving gifts from my pal, and i always either post a thank you on the board or send an email thanking them for the gift/card/thought. but i'm the type of person that would rather give than receive...mainly because i like knowing that i made another person happy. i'm not getting that with this round in any way, and i'm not finding it to be rewarding in any way at all. i'm sorry if this seems rude, but money is really tight for us right now, and i try really hard to make sure my pal knows that they're thought of and i put a lot of thought into the gifts that i send. it's just frustrating that not only do i not get a simple "thank you", but i honestly don't even know if the person is even getting my gifts. /rant kym

Kym: I am sorry that you are not enjoying playing. I agree it is nice to hear back from your person letting you know that your gift arrived and how you are liking it. I have been lucky in the respect that I always hear when my gift arrives. My problem is....I haven;t received anything since October. Granted it was for October and November...but nothing since. I am trying to look at it that maybe my secret pal has other things going on right now. Anyway, hope that you hear from your pal soon. Tracey
