She is bragging by announcing it. There is no reason to announce it other than to get praise. She is comparing herself to Jesus by saying she is doing what Jesus did. I don't understand what you're saying at all. And please don't tell God what to do on my account.

i understood perfectly what she did. so did her manager and publicist. I have been blessed, many times over. By my God. I hope your God finds it in his will to bless you as well.

Annette, I agree with you completely. I thought she handled the situation very well. In this day and age where people strive to keep Jesus out of everything she made me proud as a Christian when she proclaimed his name and spoke of the most awesome gift...him forgiving us for our sins. Your right, the Bible does teach us to forgive people no matter what they have done. That can be the hardest thing to do sometimes. I guess that is why we can go to him in prayer and ask for his strength to help us forgive. I know I have on a daily basis. I don't think she was bragging at all. GOD Bless You! That was exactly the point! Nothing more or less. Everything on there is made public. I agree with Annette. I may be naive about the basis for it but she seemed to be sincere. Either way she will account for it to her Lord someday as to the motive. As for "preaching" Christianity...its a part of who we are.

forgiving someone doesn't require an announcement, that can't be the point, she can forgive him without making an announcement. part of who you are is preaching on an obesity support site? freaking fantastic. maybe i should talk to the mods about that. i personally don't want to be confronted by intolerant religious viewpoints when i come here for support.
