American Idol

I don't know if anyone on here has been watching American Idol, but on an earlier episode, Simon made some rather rude remarks about a young lady who auditioned. She is overweight. what did he say that she forgave him for? He's brutal with everyone about anything at all that might keep them from being a "pop star", i don't see why he should be any nicer about obesity. how many obese pop stars are there? that show is about so much more than just vocal ability. you have to have the image.

well considering insults are his thing, that's not so bad. She compared herself to Jesus! maybe the bigger stage was for her ego.

i think i caught it. It got her some good publicity. Which is why she's on the show. I think the bible also teaches that when you do something good you don't go bragging about it. She must have missed that part.

Ok I looked at the link you posted. I don't see anywhere on it where she is braging, or comparing herself to Jesus. What I do see is someone who did what the Bible says to do ~forgive those who have done wrong to us the way Jesus forgave us of our wrongs. Maybe you can see something I'm not seeing.
