Dad passed away 940pm est on 2/15/06
For all of you who knew my father was ill, he went home to Heaven last evening in Presque Isle, while my Mother and oldest sister, Virginia were at his side.
His incredible fight with cancer ended sadly however we are together and being strong for Mom.
We couldn't sleep last night and went to the bedroom where Dad was and spoke to him, prayed with him, read to him and cried with him.
The funeral home came this morning and I believe that my strength overcame me as I stood by their side and Dad's, watching their every move, and was responsible for removing his wedding band. I have not taken it off since.
My Mother needs your prayers and thoughts, and I know that you all have heard the story as I posted earlier.
I will be out of town with my family for about 2 weeks and won't be able to post often however will appreciate your emails and postings.
