5 Questions for, Valentine's Day 2006

We are going to Parkersburg, WV, for our annual family reunion. It's not always in Parkersburg, though. We rotate locations between my various aunts and uncles. It's a great time, though!

1. Did you get a Valentine's gift from your sweety? Nothing today-but usually I get a dozen roses. It is his b-day today so I spend the day pampering him. We have been together all day so no way he could of snuck out and got me anything..lol .2. Do you drink coffee? I absolutely MUST have coffee 1st thing in the am....but also love my chai tea 3. Are you doing anything special for Valentine's Day? Since its my hubbys b-day I spent all day doing things for him..make him a kick ass dinner and a huge chocolate cake!!! We are gonna watch a movie after dinner. 4. Do you decorate your home and/or office for the different holidays? Yes to both. 5. What are your vacation plans for 2006? To be in Florida as much as I can....my family is there and I miss my sisters and niece so bad!!

1. yep, a bottle of beautiful perfume and a very warm pair of jammies. 2. nope, never did like it 3. nothing special...i called off work today cause i got croup......yuck 4. usually just christmas.....in fact , all my outside decorations are still up lmao 5. none, no money Linda

1. Um, sort of. We purchased a new vehicle today, so I gues it's my gift to him and his gift to me. 2. Sometimes. 3. We got back late from the dealership, so just stopped quick to grab a bite to eat. Finally landed home about 10 pm. 4. Home, just Christmas. Work..not really. 5. We are going 'family' camping in July with ALL the in-laws...lord help me. Michelle

1. My DH bought me a vermont teddy bear and had it delivered. It is the second one I have gotten in 7 years. I love flowers though and I begged for diamond earrings. I guess I have to wait until Christmas again. 2. I hate coffee. I love flavored coffee but I vowed to never drink caffeine again when I had the surgery to never drink it again. 3. We went to dinner at Outback. 4. I love decorating for the different holidays. 5. We will camp throughout the state, but no major trip since we just bought a house.

1. Did you recieve a Valentine from your sweetie? Yes, I did...I got a $50 gift certificate for whatever way I choose to pamper myself at the salon. 2. Do you drink coffee? I haven't since the surgery...mostly jus****er and crystal light. 3. Are you doing anything special for Valentine's Day? I told my husband that I was in charge of Valentine's Day this year, so I took him to our favorite restaurant for dinner...Mongolian BBQ...It was so good!!! 4. Do you decorate your home and/or office for the different holidays? I mainly decorate for Christmas, but if I have things for the other holidays, I usually put them out. 5. What are your vacation plans for 2006? Well...considering that I am on medical leave for 8 weeks because of my RNY surgery (I am 5 weeks out) I won't be able to have much of a vacation this year. I have to be fair to the girls at work!! I guess!!! So, I just took a couple of long weekends off, our anniversary is in June so we are going to go to Cedar Point and I am RIDING THE RIDES THIS YEAR!!! I can't wait. That is usually our anniversary trip for a weekend. We have a wedding in Aug, and we go up north to Big Crystal Lake at the end of Aug for a few days.

Did you get a Valentine's gift from your sweety? Yes, I received flowers at work and a beautiful sleek black nightie!! 2. Do you drink coffee? I honestly think I should buy stock in Starbucks and Caribou Soy lattes first thing in the morning and brewed coffee after that, all day long, my office is an ice box. 3. Are you doing anything special for Valentine's Day? My husband and I went to dinner (Seafood at a Muers place!!), I made a call just before dinner....I got tickets to see Chris Botti at Max Fisher Orchestra Hall. I actually treated myself to coffee and chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert on the mezzanine after the show. I waited for the crowd to thin out then I went and actually met Chris Botti and had my CD signed. Life has become an adventure and taking on a whim like this is what life should be all about. I did feel the effects of the chocolate so that will not be something I do again but loved the rest of the evening. 4. Do you decorate your home and/or office for the different holidays? Yes, mostly for Christmas and Easter (I love bunnies) 5. What are your vacation plans for 2006? I took a few days off at Easter and we will probably head to my sisters in Kentucky or my cousins in Tennessee, we always try to head for warmer weather during that time of year. I will also have several weekend get aways to the B & B on Lake Michigan this summer, thanks for the reminder, I need to book those weekends.

1. We dont get into it much cuz its my sons birthday but I did get flowers. 2. Decaf now more than ever since I've found SF Coffee-mate. In flavors too! 3. Yes, I went to see the "Bed Bugs" with my daughter and granddaughter. 4. Just for Christmas. 5. Several long weekends, Frankenmeuth in March for our anniversary, Marsahll in July for the "Drive to the Fountain", and a girly weekend in August to Chicago.
