23 Months Post-Op

For the first time in 8 months, I have updated my profile. I have been thinking a lot about pre-ops and the ride I've had over the last 23 months and have included my words of wisdom. I also added a new picture to my profile of me and puppy if you want to have a look (or the link at the bottom). I am feeling much better and looking forward to my 2 year birthday! Hey Vanessa!! It's so great to see you posting, and i am so happy you are feeling better about yourself. You are gorgeous, and i bet you will make your goals. i am just at 18 mos out now, and can't wait to see where i end up at my 2 year mark...i am down 190 pounds at 170, but i am big boned and don't really see me losing much more...according to the bmi calculator, i am still obese, with 1 point to go to be overweight...but the bmi calculator doesn't take into account your bone density either. I am happy where i am now, so if i don't lose another pound, i'll be fine. I hope to see you around more often. Hugs Linda

You look like a model! These are the stories I like to read and see since I just had my surgery in December and it seems like I will never look that good. It gives me hope. Thanks for sharing.
