Hi Everyone!! Well I'm post surgery 3 weeks tomorrow and other than struggling with the protein issue and not having any energy, I'm doing well. I lost 27 pounds the first 2 weeks!! I went Saturday and bought Isopure and Precision Protein since I'm struggling so hard to get the protein powders down. I like the Isopure, but so far the Fruit Punch Precision Protein is just too sweet for my taste. However, my question is.... can I consider the Isopure as a part of my fluid intake as well as my protein or do I still need to make sure I drink 64 oz of water every day??

When I was 3 weeks out all liquid was considered as fluid intake, even the protein drinks. It's hard to get all of the fluids in. Do the best you can. You will get yourself up to 64 ozs. a day, it just takes a bit of work, and some time. Sounds like you are doing very well. Congratulations on you 27 # weight loss. God bless you, Annette

yes, count the water/milk you add. and only use ONE scoop of isopure not two as directed since you can't absorb 50 grams of protein at once and use half as much liquid unless you like i****ered down.

I bought the Isopure liquid drinks so I'm not mixing anything. This morning I just started alternating a small glass of wather then a small glass of Isopure. That seems to be working well, but there's no way I can get my water intake in if I can't count the Isopure ;)
