My Dad is dying, please pray for him & my Mom & my family....

Stacey, A few years back we lost my grandfather to cancer. Like your dad, he was home with hospice coming in daily near the end and my grandmother taking care of him when they were not present. A few days before he left us, he was sleeping and a smile appeared on his face. He told my grandmother when he awoke that 'Mother and someone else (I can't recall who) came to see him and was just at his side'. These people had passed on many many years prior and it was comforting to know they were waiting for him to come 'home'. Your dad may be in pain and unable to fight for much longer, but take comfort in knowing that where he will be going is a beautiful place. And he will be greeted and surrounded by those he loves. And also know that when your time comes that he will be there waiting to greet you with arms wide open and to welcome you home. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Michelle

Hello Stacey , So sorry to here of your step dad's failing health . I will keep you as well as your family in my thoughts & prayers as I remember just last year the same pain your family is going through when my mom had been told she only had months to live after just going through the same thing with my dad a few year befor it felt like this just could be .So hang in there know that God is there for you & there isn't anything to big for him to handle.God's Blessings sue
