Going to buy protein drinks/powder bariatric eating sample packs???

Hello I am starting to do all my shopping and was going to order the sample pack through bariaticeating.com which gives you 15 different individule protein pouches and a shaker. Has anyone here bought that? What is your opinion on Carnation Instant Breakfast Sugar Free? Please help me any suggestions welcome and I am trying to save money but if its going to make me gag I will spend a little more. If I could get alot of differant comments I will print the posts out and go and get some to try pre op to see which I like I am going shopping friday and saturday 2/10 and 2/11 So the more responses the better any ideas of post op foods with high protein will be so appretiated thank you so much I am getting more excited by the day My filter went great today I love Henry Ford Bi-county hospital they are so nice to me and Dr. Schulman Rocks as a doc! Angella, Please don't buy too much of everything. Your taste buds WILL change after surgery. I tried the Carnation Instant Breakfast Sugar Free and i liked it. I told you the filter surgery would go great and everything else from here on out willbe also. Hey, my group is having a dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings on Hall and Mound in Sterling Heights from 7-9 and then we are going kareoking at the Lime-Lite Sports and Grill at 9:30. Angie, The Carnation's Instant Breakfast worked great for me until I was ready for some regular protein drinks, and probably taste the best. If you use the Carb Countdown Milk you get even more protein. I think the sample pack would be a great idea so you can try different things until you find the one you like. What one person loves another can't stand. Only you will know after your surgery. Glad to hear the filter went well. I knew it would! Counting down the days now is going to be fun! Cheryl

Hi Cheryl Can I still use the Carnation after surgery Its on my list in my surgery bible that Liv Lite gave me ??? I was going to add dry milk after surgery to get it to the 22grams of protein the nutrionist wants me to have in each protein drink?? I dont want to spend alot of money I am moving back home and just found out its going to cost 300.00 for the moving company and that is the cheapest of a whole page of companies. So money is tight and I want to get enough for trying now and then to get me through a while when I am in that stage of the plan. So you didnt use carnation for after surgery??? Angie~I use the Carnation sometimes...it's fine for after surgery!! And after all that i've tried...the one I seem to stick with is the Atkins Advantage...not the powder stuff...it was nasty, but the already mixed in a can!! I used CIB S/F with 2oz of egg beaterss and milk and crushed ice for a while till I became lactose intolerant. I went with Keto Slim. I hit goal in 7.5 months with that stuff and a regualr bariatric diet. I liked all the flavors untill one day the vanilla tasted like dung to me. kp @ goal

I totally use Unjury! If you have not tried it oh my gosh you have to call them or log onto their site and get some samples. Have you tried the protein balls yet they are talking about on the main site?? They are Wonderful! I use the chocolate Unjury in this recipe and it makes me full for atleast 4 hours and helps curb some cravings.

Hi, I use the "pre-made" sugar free Carnation Instant Breakfast and I love it. It is very hard to find. I recently bought it at Costco at 14 and Haggerty. 18 for $13.99. The one that comes in powder form is at every grochery store. Best of luck. Robin
