Time off work
I work with developmentally disabled people. I don't have any heavy lifting or anything. I am mostly introducing my consumers to life and options in the community, some job coaching, but nothing physically straining. I do do a lot of driving, so that could be an issue if driving is limitted. Thanks for posting, anything helps...LOL

Melissa,
It all depends on if you are having La*****t, and when your Dr. will release you for work. At the very least you will need to be off the pain meds before going back to work, and have the staples removed. I stopped the meds after a week or so and only took them at night for awhile after that. I took a month off however. I would probably have been okay after 2-3 weeks, but am glad I had the whole month off. Good luck to you!
