Humana Insurance anyone?

Does anyone have Humana PPO insurance? I have the option of maybe switching to this insurance from HAP and wonder if it is any better with the approval process for Bariatric. Please let me know if you have any information on Humana or if you went through them recently for approval.

From what I've seen thus far Humana is an easier process, I think it also depends on HMO and PPO. There is an insurers area on the board and you can look under different insurance what insurance is used the most and the last time someone was approved. there are a lot of different Humana insurance plans so i can't say i had the same as you but they ran me around for three years on WLS until a doctor finally took me aside and said, "i'm not allowed to tell you this so you can't tell anyone that i did, but you have to change insurance companies or most likely you will die." Seriously. Three months later i was lined up for surgery. Today i am healthy.
