New Member - Insurance Question

Hello all. I have been reading for a while but haven't posted until now . I am in the final stages of pre-op. I got a call from the lady handling my insurance approval and she informed me that my insurance didn't give prior approval (Federal Blue Cross) and that I would have to have my surgery done and they would bill the insurance. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this? I can not afford to pay out of pocket for the surgery. On a positive note, if I decide to take the chance on insurance, I meet with the Doctor on Monday to do my scheduling for surgery.

Thanks Jennifer. She did tell me that I would have 100% coverage with a $100.00 deductable. I was just afraid to go forward without knowing for sure.

AWWW. i hope she doesnt faint. I actually want one post op,on one of the skinny girl spots, you know ike the small of the back or stomach. I dont have a small of the back NOW. Or small of the anything else!!! Diva
