Lonely

Hi Everyone, I have just made the decision to have surgery with Dr. Wood and I really need support. I heard this site is the best place to be and to make friends at. I posted something asking how you get an angel assigned to you and no one replied . Can someone help me find one? No one seems to want to talk to me. Janet Hadden

Hi Janet, Sometimes I accidently overlook posts, but I actually did see your post but was waiting to see if someone else answered that may be closer to you and be a better angel than I could be from northern michigan....someone that could possibly visit you in the hospital, etc. I know there are several who post here from Paw Paw, or the surrounding area. But I would be happy to be your angel if you don't get someone else that may be closer and more "hands on" for you. I could at least take your phone number, and be the contact person to let people here on the Board know how you came thru, email each other, etc. That's basically what an angel does, but they may also visit if they are close enough. Anyway, just let me know! Please know that most on this board would never intentionally ignore someone's question...it's just that usually with this type of request, some are not able to or may not be in the best position to step up. Hi Janet: know that you are never alone on this board. Where are you having your surgery? Don't be afraid to post...someone will eventually answer. I have found everyone to be so supportive, and I don;t even post on a regular basis. Please share the location of your surgery and when it will be....I am sure you will get an offer for an angel. Hi Janet, I, like Theresa, was hoping that someone from the Western Shore would help. I'm a transplanted west sider. I'd be glad to help when the time for surgery comes. Jeanne

Don't be afraid to post. Even if you just want to vent or state something, always feel free to come on here and post. You are from dowstate and Dr Wood is a 3 hour drive for me so that is why I did not volunteer to be an angel. I live to far away to be able to visit anyone downstate. But feel free to yell anytime you want.
