"Foamies" question
Hi all: Have a question about what I've heard you call the "foamies". Okay, occassionally when I eat, all of the sudden I get a ton of saliva in my mouth and have to spit it out. It comes on with just a little nausea and within 5 minutes, it's gone and I can finish my meal. Is that what you guys call "foamies"?
Number 2: What causes this or is it different for everyone? It seems to be different every time it happens to me. Sometimes it could be I'm not chewing enough, sometimes I think I get the pouchy too full, other times it can happen right after a first, well-chewed bite. It isn't any particular food, either, like I said it changes all the time.
Any help would be appreciated! P.S. I've never actually gotten from this, just feels like I could and then it's gone. Thanks for the help! Pam
Hi Pam!
When I get what I think is the "foamies" it is kind of like feeling like you have to burp but getting foam instead.
I have experienced the nausea and excess saliva bit too. It usually happens right after I take my Zoloft. I think I am gulping air when I take my medicine because usually one good burp and the nausea goes away.
Talk to you later!

Pam~
You described what I feel perfectly. The only difference for me is that mine ends up with throwing up and sometimes all that comes up is white foamy mucus or saliva. Mine is caused by not chewing well enough or taking too big a bite. If I have not chewed something well enough I have pain in the middle of my chest and the lump of food comes up after the foamy junk. How disgusting is that? Hopefully this is normal since so many of us experience it?
