Dr Wood and the pouch

Here is my 2 cents: I researched the different procedures for almost 2 years and I only wanted Dr. Wood and the micro-pouch. I didn't care which center he was associated with. I too had heard many negative things about the CORI Center. I was mostly interested in finding the best surgeon that I felt comfortable with. I feel like I absolutely made the right choice in choosing Dr. Wood and esp. in choosing the micro-pouch. I am one of those people that doesn't get sick from any foods, however, the tiny micro-pouch prevents me from over indulging in the bad foods. Also my experience with the CORI Center has been excellent. I had very good follow-up from the staff but I am not the best person to give a critique of the CORI Center staff because I have not have any issues so far and therefore I don't have much interaction with them except for my appointments. I did a lot of research on my own so I really wasn't dependent on them in many ways. CORI handles a lot of patients so it will not be the same as doctors that have a lower volume of patients. The care may not seem as personal for some. It has been fine for me so far.
