We got a new foster child week who came with an upper respitory infection.... which I am now trying to prevent from taking residence in my own body. Are there any limitations in what I can take for a decongestant? I hate to call my doc today just for this but if I don't address it ASAP, I get bronchitus very easily. Sheryl In the Zoo 369/312/???

Sorry, I should have checked before I posted. It's Tylenol Severe Cold and Flu. Its a liquid and they make a day and a nightime one.

Hi Sheryl, Hope you feel better soon. Medications that are recommended for colds: Benadryl, dimetapp, Robitussin, Sudafed, Triminics, Tylenol cold products. Try to get the sugar free versions of these. The Tylenol products are recommended over all of the other brands. Hope this helps. God bless you, Annette
