How Much Protein?
Hi All:
I see a lot of good discussions on here about protein, how to get it in, etc., etc. But it is causing me some concern because it appears that my protein requirements are very low compared to what others are trying to consume. My NUT has recommended a minimum of 65 grams a day with the thought that I should try not to get many more than 72. I asked her twice if that was correct and she assured me that according to the "formula" that was what my body requires. Does anyone know what the magic formula is? I am 5'4"...What do you guys think? Any info is greatly appreciated.
My three month follow-up is in a couple of weeks I will also re-visit this topic then.
