The scale lied! But it's right now
A couple of weeks ago, I posted that I was now under 200 pounds, as the scale read 185. Well, the next day I weighed myself again, thinking a loss of 29 pounds in two weeks was excessive. And the scale said ... 208. So I weighed myself again. Still 208. I was crestfallen. Still, that was an 11-pound loss in two weeks. Since then, I have been steadily losing again. Today, I got on the scale and it read .... drum roll please ... 198. I weighed myself two more times to be sure, and it was the same every time.
So now I'm officially in One-derland. And I'll never go back to the land of super morbid obesity.
By the way, for anyone wanting to jump-start their weight loss, try cutting back to one real meal a day and two protein supplement type meals (kind of like Slim-Fast). I used Grand Rapids-based MMPC's pre-op supplements (only the ones I liked). Since the first week of January, I have lost 20 pounds. So it works. Also getting the junk food out of the house made a big difference.
