Hi Lula,
Yes some obese (and some not obese) people have issues with body odor. Usually the problem with obese people is that they don't clean themselves thoroughly, because they can't reach crucial places. That is where long handled bath brushes come in handy. Another cause of body odor is infrequent bathing/showers. We need to shower/bathe at least once a day, sometimes more. After a bath many obese people tend to let themselves "air dry". The problem with this is the moisture in the skin folds don't get dry. Bacteria tends to grow in dark, warm, moist places, (i.e. our skin, fat folds) That in turn causes a foul odor. Make sure you are drying every part of your body with a clean towel to avoid this problem. Using anti-perspirant will help to cut down on underarm odor. Talcum powder may also help to keep the obese person dry, It must be put on completely dry skin to be effective.
I hope this helps.
God bless you,
Annette
I read an article that you do the following for shoe odors:
Take two socks and fill with clean (duh) cat litter. Place the socks in the shoes and tie them up and leave the socks in overnight. This will rid the shoes of odors.
I tried it and it does work. I have bad stinky shoes from working out and using orthotics in my shoes and so give it a whirl.
Best to you and I'll see if I can come up with other ideas.
Stacey
Yeah, we stink. Lotsa cracks and crevices for funk to bunk. Hell, I found a lost remote one time!
We really turn up the Oh-Dare when we lose weight and go into ketosis. That's why it's a good idea to driink water and flush that stuff out.
I smell like a rose now. Look like a million bucks too! I'm full of myself.
