Protein w/ water

Hi All! Does anyone have a good brand of protein powder or premix that is mixed w/ water? The Dr. I am using sends home some after surgery, but from a few friends who have tried it say it is unbareable! I tried the Unjury and it was baaaaaaaaaad! The ones w/ milk from Unjury were great!, but I need one w/ water. Thanks!!

ProBlend 55: Available at GNC and on line. It's a powder. Mix 1 scoop with 1/2 cup of water and you have 27.5 gm of protein. Comes in chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. I like to mix it up with a portable electric hand blender and then add some ice. Nancy B

I like Matrix Perfect Chocolate and Simply Vanilla. Also Elite Gourmet Vanilla and ISOPure Chocolate. I mix only with water because fresh out of surgery the milk upset my stomach and now i prefer to save the fat/carbs/calories of the milk to have with other meals rather than in my protein drink.

Hi Kristin, I am a psychologist who works with pre and post-bariatric patients. Some of the best tasting protein powders that you mix with water are made by a company called Health Wise. I know Beaumont Hospital's program sells it, but you can probably find it on-line as well. Flavors include, strawberry kiwi, lemonade, and peach mango. It's especially tasty if you mix it in a water bottle and freeze it, so it tastes like a slush. Hope this helps!
