Yeah, we have created a "Survivor" game here at work when it starts! Can't wait! I like the Amazing Race too, but my stomach gets so "nervous" with all the rushing around! I feel like I've run the race myself!

I get a kick out of watching it sometimes. However due to my work I can't always listen. I do think that this season the judges are more "mean". MSNBC.COM reported this in a newstory on their main page today. Simon Cowell (notice the first three letters of his last name?) made reference to a woman who was large in size winning but that they will need a bigger stage for her. To me, that is really something I know now I would slap a lawsuit on his face for. If I were young enough to audition...if I even could sing. So, it's another season of people getting their shot to be on TV and either sing sing sing or make a fool of themselves. That is what TV is all about and the demographics for this show typically are about 13-28 year olds. When a 46 year old woman (myself) watches this show and laughs hysterically, you know some producer is doing something right. FOX does Rock.............24 is just another example of how they are coming around the corner in ratings. (Having worked in broadcasting- radio and tv now for over 25 years, 5 of those spent at a Fox affiliate in Grand Rapids) Television, entertainment for the mind. And an opportunity for people to make complete fools of themselves on national tv. One more step closer to national fame. You gotta love that!!!
