Down In The Dumps

K, I have completed ALL of the testing that was required of me. I have called and resubmitted the fax number to the different doctors, so they could fax the reports to Cori. I was even told by one of them, that they were working on it and that it would be sent yesterday. Well, they lied to me. I spoke with Amy from Cori and she said the faxes had not yet arrived there. My PCP had sent hers, but thats it. Please pray that these faxes get into Cori tomorrow. I need my date. Thanks, Normie

I'm sorry you are so down in the dumps Normie- that really stinks! I am also going with Cori- and have hap hmo- they are now telling me that i have to do one year of weight loss program with beaumont or henry ford- while on the 9th of this month they told me that the documentation was good and all i needed was a referral from my pcp-- so now i am fighting and hoping it will get me somewehre.. i will keep you in my thougths.. who is your insurance with?

Kate, I have BCBS insurance. I was told that my insurance will wave the 12 mo, documentation for WL. Gosh, I pray that we both get to have our surgeries soon. Kate, thanks so much for responding to my post. It's nice to know there are people who can relate and care. Hugs, Normie

Hey!!!! You got a face!!!! It is nice to "see" you!!! I am sorry I had to cut our chat short this am but had to get my nails done. Could not stand the stubbies anymore! Normie- I - was happy to see your post today. I am in the same position - I have everything done and then at my consult, they couldn't find a copy of the h-pylori, so I had to go back to the lab who said they faxed it. Call Cori back - no - go back to the lab and they say oh, we never did that one - have them fax over a request. Needless to say, I hAD IT DONE TODAY AND cORI WILL HAVE THE RESULTS TOMORROW - THat's all I need to get a date. I can't wait to just get all this uncertainty over. Hey maybe we will all be in around the same time. My best friends sister-in-law is the head nurse at the Coru portion at Harper, so I know I will have good nurses after at least! Let's keep in touch if you want. Have you bought any food or preparations yet? Kim
