I visit this site often, and have left a few posts here and there before surgery. Thank you all for your support and comments. On the 19th I had RNY lap performed. I am recovering OK. I want to feel normal now and have to be patient and take each day at a time. I'm still really sore. I don't know what I would do if it weren't for my mom, dad, sister and hubby. They have truly been so wonderful and I am blessed to have them. I just wonder how long does it take before you feel normal again? I have to go back to work in a week and a half and worry I won't be ready. It's not a stressful or physical job, but non the less I have to get back in the grind. As long as my pain is under control I think I'll be OK. Plus I have to be mom to an energetic four year old son (who is my life and light...). I hope everyone is doing well and wish everyone who is searching about this issue all the love and prayers for a safe journey. Thank you. Christie
