United Health Care anyone have any comments?

A new medical plan maybe available to me it is called United Health Care has anyone had any experience with this plan? Thanks Paul

I became eligible with United Health Care 12/1/2005 and I was told that the Bariatric surgery and plastic sugery related to after a bariatric procedure and significant weight loss is covered benefit of my plan through my job. I called them 866-622-9264 but that is my perot system phone number. Their website is myuhc.com. which I believe is universal for any company you work for. They have been great so far and all the doctors that I have already participate with UHC. I know I am new to this plan and have not yet had surgery but I thought maybe I could help. I've had UHC on and off for most of the last decade. Off - not due to choice but to changes in jobs or what companies I worked for offered. I love UHC. I've never had issues with them paying bills, they are responsive, and with my documentation, I was approved for WLS in 2 weeks. My experiences with UHC have been great - much better that with the other insurance companies I've had to use at times. Best, Michele P

I HAD UNITED HEALTH CARE AND THERE WAS AN EXCLUSION ON THE POLICY SO CALL AND CHECK WITH THEM FIRST... OR BETTER YET KNOWING THEM GET IT IN WRITING AND THERE RX PLAN IS NOT THE BEST I PAY 50 BUCKS FOR A 30 DAYS SUPPLY OF MOST MEDICATIONS...SO CHECK IT ALL OUT FIRST... BEST OF LUCK
