Prayers please-paperwork porperly submitted

I just received a phone call from my Dr's office and was informed that my referral was made this morning to HAP. She said she talked to them directly and faxed my paperwork (which I had previously sent to them but they told me they wouldn't even look at because I sent it in and not my Dr.)... so now the Doctor's office submitted it and it will be reviewed. Just asking for prayers. God can do ANYTHING... even get me an approval from HAP!!!!

My prayers are with you, Kim , Now that everything is in according to HAP's requirements, let's pray they don't drag their feet and get you approved and on your way! Peace and blessings, Lizzie B

Hi Kim-- I am a HAP person as well-- HMO here-- I would love to talk to you- my PCP referred me to CORI and HAP said they won't allow because I have not spent one year with either Beaumont or Henry Ford in their weight loss program... I have many many years with Weigh****chers which i have submitted- but now they are telling me that wont' do... ggrrrr.. let me know what you have and what you needed to turn in.... feel free to email me at [email protected] I will keep you in my prayers

Kim and Kate, keep me posted...seems we are all in the same HAP boat. Ive been denied and Im awaiting my letter stating the reasons. Kate, did you get a letter? If so, how long did it take. I was denied on the 21st according to the online member site. Kim, keeping my fingers crossed for you. I think your doctor was smart in ordering tests up front. A couple of the reasons, besides 12 month diet, that they denied my g/f was no psych eval, no sleep study, and I think one other thing.
