HA HA HA Laurie, i love your last reply. This weekend was great for me. It's one of the very few weekends i do get off. My hubby and a bunch of friends took me out last night for my birthday, we had a blast. It was the first time i've been in a bar in years, and boy was i shocked at how many guys sent me drinks and asked me to dance. I would have never guessed it would be like that. We danced all night and closed the bar. Then today i went to lunch with a friend, came home and laid in bed all day watching movies, something i never do. I plan on taking a nice quiet bubble bath in a few minutes then watching more movies. I hope you are feeling better more each day, keep pampering yourself. Hugs Linda

I also had a great weekend. Saturday my hubby and I went to an Auction all afternoon, and Saturday night We went to our Cruise party hosted by Jen and Maryvonne. I sat with Jon and his wife and we had a great time playing games and getting excited about our upcoming cruise. Sunday was my hubby's birthday and our girls came over and we had a nice dinner and birthday theme evening. I hobe everyone had a good weekend as well. Janice

This has been a weird weekend for me. Friday when my daughter got out of school my dad was here to pick her up to spend the night with him and my mom. She loves going to spend time with them and they take her overnight once a week or once every two weeks. It is so nice for me to get a break. So then all I did the rest of the night was lay around and watch chick fliks till my hubby got home at 11:30 from work. I woke up Saturday to a yard full of snow. Friday night we got about 8 inches of the yucky white stuff. My aunt and uncle were in town from Grand Rapid so I went to Manistee and met them and my parents with Jordyn for lunch. It is really nice to get together like that once in a while. After lunch my mom, Jordyn and I went to a local pool for a nice relaxing swim. I don't know about you all but I am always cold anf that hot tub was just beautiful. On our way home we went a saw a nice older lady that is in a adult foster care home. She use to live across the street from my grandma when I was a little girl. She really enjoys spending time talking to my daughter. I made a resolution this year to go and see here at least once every two weeks. Can you imagine not having anything to do but sit and wait for someone to come and visit you. It would make for long days. I then spent the remainder of that day cleaning up the house and watching more movies. About 10pm last night my little girl woke up puking. I don't know about you all but I can handle my own puke if need be but someone else's everywhere was unreal. She was so sick. I had tons of blankets to wash and got her a bath. We were up most off the night. She finally fell asleep and quick puking at about 6am today. She then slept till 10:30. Once up I took her temp 99.8 under her arm. She scared me cause then she said her left side was hurting. I called my mom again and since she is a nurse she called the local hospital and asked what they thought we should do. They said to wait a bit and try to get some liquids into her. Her and I basically did laundry and layed around all day but I think she is on the mend. i think she got a bad case of food poisoning from the spaghetti she ate at lunch yesterday. I had a nice weekend also. My husband and I worked on our taxes and got them done. It is a big job as we live on a farm and it is time consuming but they are done for another year. Saturday we did go pickup a quilt I had a very nice Amish lady finish for me. My husband had bought this quilt top at an auction that needed to be quilted. It is beautiful and fits our bed just perfectly. This same Amish lady is doing an eagle quilt for me I can't wait until it done. She said probably another couple of weeks. Sunday we went to Church and finished the taxes. Love and Prayers Patsy

Saturday my daughter Sarah & I did some stamping & made Valentine cards & a birthday card for my sister. On Sunday we had a surprise party for my OLDER sister who is now 50, it was so great she was really truely suprised. All in all not a bad weekend....

My weekend was yucky! I was nauseated all weekend, weak, tired, couldn't eat anything. Called the doctor today, they told me that even if I'm nauseated I have to eat every 2 hours and make sure I get my protein in. Blech! They said it's all part of my body adjusting to the surgery and it's new plumbing. I sure hope it goes away fast. Hoping next weekend will be better! Beth
