Since surgery I don't like water or cold drinks, so shakes are not appealing. I order Unjury online (www.unjury.com) and add a half of scoop to my coffee every time. The only thing is the liquid can't be to hot. I like the chocolate. I have tried the Designer protein at GNC but don't like the taste, but it also mixes well with warm liquids. Donna

The protein wafers I found are these: BioNutritional Power Crunch High Protein Energy Wafer Bar Power Crunch High Protein Wafer bars are unique creme filled protein wafer cookies that taste just like a real candy wafer. Packed with whey protein, the Power Crunch high protein wafer bars, are a light, high protein, nutritious energy snack solution. You can find them on numerous websites but the cheapest website I located was found through a google search. I sometimes see them on here on the little boxes over to the left side. They are light, tasty and I tolerate them well as a snack. Though my main source of protein comes from Isopure, I have tried Carnation Instant Breakfast mixed with protein powder and skim/fat free milk (not much) for a shake but again, I dont care for anything too sweet. I eat lean beef, and what seafood I can tolerate has to be baked or broiled. Shrimp I eat some but I have a hard time with it because its gristly to me and I have to chew it 100 times to get it down without it hurting.
