Surgery in Mexico?

Hello fellow Michiganders! I am from Grand Rapids and would like to schedule the lapband surgery in Mexico for the beginning of March. My question is, has anyone had surgery in Mexico and had their fills here? I know that some doctors will not do the fills unless they performed the surgery. Any advice? Any doctors that you know will perform the fills? Thanks! Casey

Casey, Have your surgery in the US. I know someone who had it in Mexico and had troubles. Know one in Michigan would fix her problems,she had to keep flying back and forth and that got costly. Also, the fills are expensive and until you are "FILLED" enough, it like 100 a pop. There are doctors that do Lap Band in MI...consider RYN. Best of luck.... Robin
