MMPC Application Mailed - What happens next?

I mailed in my application information that I received at a MMPC informational seminar on 1/3/2006. What happens next in the process - the sit around and waiting game is making me anxious.

Karen, I hope your wait doesn't last as long as mine. I went to orientation May 21,2005. I still do not have a surgery date. I seen Dr. Baker in Oct. he told me it would probably be in Dec. or Jan. and I'm still waiting. Of course everything they wanted, there were follow up with everything. They told me they had alot of teachers to work with during the holidays. So I just wait . Good think I've got lots to do . Viva V.

I think you should probably call them. Did ou get any appointments scheduled while ou were there. Call them at 877-877-6672. Good Luck!!!

Usually the next step is attending an orientation session. At the end of the session, they will set up appts. and take your paperwork. If you have already attended one and got your paperwork there, I would simply call and ask where to go from here. They are very helpful, but also very busy. K

They usually make appointments directly following the orientation. Otherwise, you need to call to make your appointments. That's my impression anyway. I just had my first appointments last week and Dr. Baker said they are scheduling surgeries for Feb and Mar now but it hasn't even been sent into my insurance company yet, so who knows. Hopefully all will go well and I won't have to wait tooooo long. lol
