Surgery again...
As many of you know I have had a heck of a time with my inner thigh tuck. Had it over 4 months ago. I had the drains in for about 5 weeks, once they were out I have been going every week, twice a week to get both legs manually drained. Then they went in my leg several weeks ago to an "in office procedure" to remove 4 seromas. Well the right legs is all healed but the left is horrible. So Dr.Ellen decided to do surgery on it. I will be going in Monday morning to Troy Beaumont, surgery at 7:30am. They will be going in, cutting about 8 inches, removing the new seromas, clearing out infection, spraying a tissue spray in there to heal the tissue together, pulling the skin tight since it stretched so much from all the fluid/swelling, then they will staple/stitch it up and wrap tight so the tissue will heal together. Yes...I will have a drain in again for a few weeks.
Right now the skin is hard, red, itchy, tender, swollen very much, I have an area that sticks out about the size of an egg that is sticking out of the inner thigh, then an area on inner thigh near knee that is like a huge softball sticking out. Dreading the surgery, but this has been going on far too long. Just be done with it and have it all nice and healed for summer time.
Please keep me in your prayers that I have an uneventful surgery!
Will keep you posted one way or another after surgery.

Terri I know you are going through some PS issues yourself. In the end this it will all be worth it. I needed these surgerys to make my transformation complete.
I'm happy with all the other PS, but for some reason this time it is giving me a lot of troubles. Debating on getting the girls lifted, afraid of more complications. I can deal with the problems I have now but they could get much worse. Hoping you get some relief from your problems as well. Pretty soon that belly swelling and draingin will be down and you will be nice and flat for summer. My TT was the best surgery I have had next to the WLS that is.

Lauri-
Just want you to know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I will be praying for an uneventful surgery and quick healing. It is crazy what we will do to make our selves feel and look better. I really want to have my tummy tuck done but after all of the complications that I have had I am afraid. I doubt I would have any problems but then you never know.
Hugs-

Hi Lauri,
I just wanted to let you know that I will be praying for you. I saw Marti's on several occassions and she was very uncomfortable. I'm so glad your right leg is all healed, and I have faith that Dr. Ellen will be able to get your left leg all set, too! I know she won't let it go until she's got you fit as a fiddle !
Blessings,
Lizzie B
Yeah Marti and I have been on this journey together...literally. Seems like all of our surgeries are just days apart and we have had VERY similar complications. Oh yes Dr.Ellen will for sure take care of me. She is a perfectionist! I in now way blame her for this, it's just one of them things in life that happens with the choice of PS.
