6 months later
Just passed my 6 month anniversary of my WLS. It's been a great ride so far as I have been blessed with avoiding most of the bad complications that so many others seem to suffer. I've been working hard at proper nutrition and exercise and the results have exceeded my wildest dreams.
So far I have...
Taken 16 inches off my waistline
Went from a 4x shirt to a 1x
Went from a BMI of 60.0 to 37.7
Can actually walk up the stairs without getting out of breath.
Can fit in barber and dentist chairs comfortably
Women are actually looking at ME
Have lost an incredible 160 pounds!
I still have a ways to go. I want to lose another 85 pounds, but I am SURE that I can do it as long as I stick to the program. Every day I thank God for the skill of my surgeon and this second chance at good health.
Keep up the great work everybody
Tim

Hi Tim!
I am so happy for you and so proud of you, young man !!!! I just had my 6 mo. post-op visit and was pleased to find I'd lost 90lbs.! That's nothing compared to your -160 . You look great and are obviously doing everything right, keep it up and enjoy your new self. (I'm looking forward to snow skiing next winter, too!! And, although I love and respect both Richard and Kyle Petty, my heart belongs to Mikey Waltrip and Jimmy Johnson...)
Blessings,
Lizzie B
P.S. When I lose my next 10 lbs, how do I get one of those cool Century Club cards for my profile?
