Hernia??? Is this it?

I have got something going on at the top part of my open rny incision I am almost 6 months out ... it is like a lump under the scar and it feels like it's an air pocket? I can push on it and it pops back in is it a hernia it does not hurt but gas is just rolling I am wondering if lifting at work is causing this I am a nurse aide and do heavy lifting should I work tonight before I see my dr tomorrow? Here's Dr. Wood's hernia test: Lay flat on the bed or floor. Do 1/2 of a sit up. If it pops up when you partly on a sit up then it's probably a hernia. I'd think as long as you don't have any pain with it that working would be fine until you see your doctor, but make sure you mention it to him when you go. Best of wishes Laurie
