One year

Thought I would check in, as I usually am just a lurker. I had my one year check-up yesterday. I was supposed to see Dr. Kole, but as he had an emergency surgery, I saw Dr. Schuhknecht for the first time. I switched from the CORI office to Real Weight Loss Solutions in Warren. (Thanks, Kevin, for posting where Dr. Kole had gone to). I was anxious for my visit, even though I have been feeling wonderful, with absolutely no problems since the first six weeks. According to Dr. S's scale, I have lost 161 pounds (I am down 166 pounds by my home scale). I am so happy with the results. I have been working out at least 4 times a week for several months, and have been very careful the last month with removing all bad carbs from my eating. I had found they were creeping back in, especially since Easter. Since the beginning of May, the weight has been dropping again. And, Dr. S. says I am ready for abdominoplasty at any time. That is exciting and terrifying at the same time. Reading everyone's experiences with their TT has been an eye opener. I have a really large panni and waist, and have never known a flat stomach in my life, so I am willing to do this to be free of the rashes and back aches. So now it is a matter of waiting for insurance approval, and finding a time that I can get off from work. If you have any TT experiences with Dr. S. or Dr. Kole you would like to share, can you let me know? Thanks, Debra M. 351/185/150

Congrats on a great one year check up!!!!!!!!!!!!! My surgerversary is today, but I go for my check up next week. I just had tt with Dr. S and he's great!!!!! I have had zero complications from it. Everything is healing nicely!! I was only there over night. And I was off all pain meds by about day five. Not that I'm completely out of pain, but it's more "sore" then pain now. Go for the TT - its soooooo worth it!!!!! Hugs, Laurie - @ goal and holding
