Looking for Dr. Schram patients

Hello!!! I am planning to have surgery with Dr. Schram at Barix in Ypsilanti. I'd like to see what your journey/progress has been like. Thanks!!! Anne

Anne- I had Dr Schram and he is great! Sorry I don't have much info on my profile for you to read. I wasn't good at posting my progress. Anyway, I think I was at goal in less than a year and have had no complications at all. I had open - went home the 2nd evening after surgery and back to work 12 days after surgery (desk job). The nurses at Barix were wonderful. Very helpful. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions. Teri

I am having surgery with Dr Schram on the 14th. I have had a very easy time getting everything done and am very impressed with Barix. You can go into Dr Schram's forum and there are a lot of people you can talk to.teri

I had my surgery with Dr. Schram on the 16th of December 2005.. I LOVE HIM!!! he was amazing the staff was wonderful, I have nothing but great things to say about him and his bedside manner. Ypsi was also great the nurses were wonderful and very much there for you when you needed them... I can't say enough good things about him.. Feel free to email me if you have any questions... I, too, had Doctor Schram and have nothing but praise for him and the Barix staff!!! I know there are many other reputable places to go (up where I'm from, most people go to MMPC) but to me, Barix was the best choice. They are exceedingly specialized, have excellent statistics, and an aftercare program that is second to none! I even went to the trouble of going out-of-network to ensure that my surgery could be done with Schram. Feel free to read my profile...I hope it helps you. Best of luck in your WL journey! Maria
