Pre-op testing today!
I am now one more step closer to my date. I went today to have all of my pre-op tests done. Everything looked good! 
Learned allot about how to eat after wards and what to expect. Everyone at Barix was very nice and took the time to go over everything in detail. I tasted all kinds of protein powders. The Nectar was good, but oh gosh some of them were yucky.
I am very much looking forward to May 30th it's almost scary the way that Im feeling. I am not really nervous or scared or even excited for that matter. Just a very peaceful feeling, I'm ready! I'm ready to start my new life of feeling good and being healthy.
I only have 14 more days until I'm officially a loser.

I drive a little too fast Teri 
. I left my house at 6:50 am and pulled into there drive at 9:10. My plan was to get out of the house by 6:30 so that i would have 2 hours and 45 mins to get there, ooops that didnt go as planned. My appt was at 9:15 and i was there almost 3 hours on the dot. I would probably allow 3 hours just to be safe, i didnt run into any construction but it is starting.
I also wanted to ask you if you have an 
yet?? I would love to offer.

you will be past the worst of it when i have my surgery! i will give myself 3 hrs to get there, my mom is taking me, i cant drive that far,lol. have a hotel for her for the surgery, and my dh is planning in sleeping in the chair in my room, i told him he was nuts, but that is ok,lol. are you getting excited? how is mom doing? teri

Hey there Stacy, I don't post much anymore but I want to send you some great wishes. Dr. Schram did my surgery and was amazing. It's a great facility and you are in great hands. God has brought you this far for a reason.
I have had some downs but for the most part I have had a lot of UP'S. I can assure you your life will NEVER be the same, but in a good way. Every waiking moment I am aware of what goes in my mouth. But I would never change my mind on the surgery if given the chance. I have such a high self esteem and feel so amazing. My 3 kids feel like they have a new Mom this year. Keep your head up and be strong. Your new life awaits you. God bless.
