OT: Rainy weather Car Accident
Let me start off by saying that no one was seriously injured. However, the same can not be said about my car! Hubby took Liz with him so she could log in some more driving time. She has been on a level one license for 3 months now and has been doing very good. Anyway, they were on their way home when some idiot in front of her decided to make a quick left turn without signaling and then stopped because of oncoming traffic. Liz tried to stop by slamming on the brakes but was unable to avoid the collision. The front 25% of our car was totally demolished. Nothing on the dash works anymore---not even the radio! But God was definately watching over them as Tim & Liz were able to walk away without so much as a scratch. Of course, they are sore as can be from the whiplash but that is to be expected. And to top everything else off, Liz is the one that got the ticket and blame for the accident. She is just so distraught! Anyway, that is my sad story for today!

First of all I am so glad that Hubby and Liz are ok!! The Lord does have his hand on those we love : )
Next I would tell Liz to make sure she fights her ticket, nothing says that you have to accept the ticket, talk to the people who caused the accident in the first place, they would be the ones who have to go with her before a judge and they would have a say in whether the ticket gets wavied. Hopefully they would be willing to say what they did wrong, knowing of course that they were in the wrong, and they will not be issued a ticket. Geez, how would I know this......My daughter got into an accident the first day she was driving on her own, similar situation, no way to stop on wet pavement and an idiot who pulled over three lanes of traffic, my daughter never had a chance but clipped there rear end so she got a ticket...crazzzzzzzzzzy laws we have sometimes, but I guess that is why they call em accidents and not "meant to do thats"
Tell em to soak in a warm tub and put some arnica(you can find it at a health food store) on their sore muscles.
Cars can be replaced, loved ones never can.
